Yolo County Archives Announces “Summer Saturdays”
(Woodland, CA) – The Yolo County Archives is happy to announce extended hours this summer. In an effort to provide access to residents unable to visit on weekdays, the archives will be open from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on the following Saturdays: June 21, July 19, August 2, 16 and 30.
The Yolo County Archives has served the community since 1985, helping amateur and professional researchers alike discover the rich history of Yolo County. The collections include property and tax records, court documents, Board of Supervisors records, city directories, Great Registers and more. The Yolo County Archives is also home to a collection of over 34,000 obituaries, a large selection of maps and an extensive collection of photographs.
The Yolo County Archives is located at 226 Buckeye Street in Woodland. During the week, the archives are open to the public by appointment on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please call (530) 666-8010 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to set up an appointment.
