Adult Services

Adult Services provides social programs to help Yolo County's elderly and dependent adults to live safely and maintain as much independence as possible. 

Adult Protective Services (APS) is a state-mandated program that provides information and referral, assessment, and case management services to elderly (65 and older) and dependent adults (18-64) who are at risk of abuse, neglect or exploitation by self or others.

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) is a federal, state and locally funded program providing assistance to those eligible aged, blind or disabled individuals who are unable to remain safely in their own homes without this assistance.
