About: The City of Davis maintains over 400 acres of parks and greenbelts throughout the community. Visitors to the 32 neighborhood and community parks and the extensive system of greenbelts can find 43 different play areas, 12 large reservable picnic areas and many smaller ones, 33 tennis courts, and many other amenities such as horse shoe pits, disc golf, basketball courts, exercise courses, and much, much more.

Additional Highlights:

  • Batting cages ($1/15 hits, bats and helmets are free).
  • Skate Park (Free; located at Community Park, see Parks and Rec website for location)

Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area
Approximately three miles east of Davis (four miles west of West Sacramento) off Interstate 80. From eastbound I-80, take East Chiles Road exit and travel east one quarter mile to the west levee access. From westbound I-80, take Frontage Road exit immediately west of the west end of the Yolo Causeway, turn right at stop sign and head south under freeway to west levee access.

From Knights Landing: Approximately 4.6 miles southeast of Highway 113 in Knights Landing on Roads 116 and 116B, turn left on Road 116A for 0.6 miles.

Dance Zumba Class
Yolo County Children's Alliance (YCCA) and the Kaiser Heal Program host classes on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm at Alyce Norman Center cafeteria (1200 Anna St) for $2.00 per session.

River Walk Park
The River Walk Park is a paved trail along the west bank of the Sacramento river. Between the trial and the river are many picnic areas. Along the trail itself are many educational signs that talk about the settlement of Sacramento, as well as the natural habitat of the river.
