As Mandated by the Federal Title V MCH grant, Yolo County MCAH program conducts a community needs assessment every five years to develop a subsequent plan for allocating the resources to address the identified needs of its MCH population over the next five years.

The community needs assessment was conducted over a one-year period, which resulted in establishing Obesity and Youth Substance Use Prevention as the two MCAH priority goals targeted for improvement in the 2005 Five Year Action Plan. To view the Community Needs Assessment, 2004 click here.

In collaboration with the Yolo County Health Department Epidemiology Unit, the MCAH Program has released the 2006 Birth Report. This report summarizes data on Yolo County live births for 2006. To view this report, click here."
