 Please be advised: 

Due to road conditions along State Highway 16, the Cache Creek Regional Park Campground will not open until April 8, 2017.

Due to continued high water levels along the Sacramento River, the boat launches at Knights Landing, Elkhorn Regional Park, and Clarksburg have been closed until further notice. The division anticipates being able to have an update on the status of these closures by March 31, 2017.

On Friday, March 3, 2017, the Parks Division submitted an Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Planning Grant Application to the California State Parks Department, Division of Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division. At this time, we invite all interested parties to review this application on the OHMVR website, here.  Once on the page, use the menu on the left side of the page, and click on the link that says, "Public Review Instructions."  This will guide you through review of our application. We look forward to receiving your feedback!

AS of February 23, 2017, Highway 16 is closed at Rumsey Caynon to traffic due to a mudslide.  Motorists are advised to use other routes.  For ongoing information continue to check the Parks website. 

 The Archery Range at Grasslands Regional Park is currently open and will remain open until approximately April 30, 2017.
