Employment Services provides employment resources, offers workshops regarding interview, resume and job search tips, and provides public access to the One-Stop Career Centers at both the West Sacramento and Woodland locations. Employment Services also assists CalWORKs recipients participating in the Welfare-to-Work program.

 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

The federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) offers a comprehensive range of workforce development activities through statewide and local organizations. Available workforce development activities provided in local communities can benefit job seekers, laid off workers, youth, incumbent workers, new entrants to the workforce, veterans, persons with disabilities, and employers.

WIOA Orientations are held at 8:15 am at the Woodland & West Sacramento Offices every Monday (excluding holidays) no appointment necessary.
