The mission of the Yolo County Department of Child Support Services is to promote the well-being of children and the self sufficiency of families by assisting both parents to meet the financial and medical needs of their children through the professional establishment and enforcement of child support orders.
Who we serve
Services are available to you if you are a parent or legal guardian who would like assistance in obtaining or enforcing a child support order, regardless of income level.
Yolo County Department of Child Support Services assists parents in establishing paternity and child support, modifying and enforcing child and medical support orders. We collect and distribute child support to custodial parents. We also provide a full accounting of all child support owed, paid and received. Audits can be provided upon request. If needed we can provide genetic testing to determine paternity or locate services to find parents for the purpose of child support collection.
Yolo County DCSS is one of 51 local child support agencies (LCSA) working with the California Department of Child Support Services to serve the needs of the people in our state. Click here to view the California DCSS Mission Statement.
